Theresa Prezioso

Theresa Prezioso is a 2009 J.D. graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a concentration in criminal law. Born and raised in Western New York, she is a 2000 graduate of Niagara Wheatfield, and a 2004 cum laude graduate of Columbia University with a B.A. in English Literature, minor in psychology.

Ms. Prezioso was admitted to the New York State bar in 2010, as well as Federal District Court (WDNY), Bankruptcy Court, and practices in the New York State Appellate Division 4th Department.

Ms. Prezioso has been a member of the Niagara County Public Defender’s Office Criminal and Appellate Divisions since 2015. She was formerly a member of the Niagara County District Attorney’s Office serving in the General Crimes and Appellate Bureaus, having been the lead prosecutor on multiple felony jury trials. She also clerked for Hon. Judge Skretny in Federal Court (WDNY) while in law school.

Ms. Prezioso has been with Viola, Cummings, & Lindsay LLP since 2016 with criminal law being her main area of concentration. She also handles real estate, matrimonial law, matrimonial mediation, and family law.
